    Description

    An original used license plate topper #472 for entrance to the now Fort Wainwright Military Base which was Ladd Army Airfield from 1938-47.  Originally Ladd Army Airfield from 1938-47, the newly created U.S. Air Force took over from 1947-61 and named it Ladd Air Force Base.  In 1961 the base reverted back to the Army and was named Fort Wainwright Military Base.  The base is located in Fairbanks, Alaska.  Neat and unusual scarce license plate topper.  Starting out at a low minimum bid and you decide the final price.  Nice interesting piece of history.  As required by eBay rules, even though its obvious, this license plate topper is at least three years old.
