    SMOKE FREE ENVIRONMENT
Up for your consideration is a great addition
to any collection. Your doll has never been
removed from her box. She is new and in
    MINT CONDITION.
Kept is an airconditioned, pet free, smoke free
    environment.
Doll artist Patricia Loveless is pleased to introduce Belinda,
appearing in a Unique costume designed by Patricia for
World Gallery of Dolls & Collectibles. Belinda's face is
a reproduction of the classic original antique porcelain
doll, the Kestner 237, a doll which is widely known to
collectors as Hilda. Her costume is a handcrafted
crochet christening gown. Belinda is full body
porcelain doll with open mouth and inset eyes.
The most unusual feature of Belinda is her costume
which is crocheted by hand of the fin ivory cotton lined
in dusty mauve. Patricia's costume design is unique in
the use of crochet which is among the oldest of the
needle crafts.  It is usually found only on one of a kind
dolls because crochet work cannot be performed by a
machine and each piece must be painstakingly
crafted using a special hook and needles. Patricia's
design was inspired by the crochet work of her aunt
Louise who lovingly crocheted many cherished works
as gifts to celebrate new babies, weddings and other
special events in the family. Belinda is only available
through the World Gallery of Dolls & Collectibles and
is a numbered limited edition. She is inscribed with the
edition number and the artist signature mark in 18 kt.
gold on the back of the neck.
Your doll is #805/2000 closed worldwide edition.
