    Description

    Crossing the Equator Navy Certificate WWll USS PCE 842 April 1944. Condition is "Used". Nice Navy certificate for with the name "USS PCE-842" which I had to look up and was actually the USS Mafa.
    The PCE-842-class patrol craft were United States Navy patrol craft escorts designed during World War II that were intended for coastal and convoy escort.
    The entry for the longitude was "secret" since it was common not to disclose the location where the ship crossed the equator.  The certificate is in excellent shape and measures 15 x 20 inches and also has the seal of the commanding officer.
