EXTRUDED ALUMINUM REPLACEMENT FENCE BEAM FOR A DELTA TABLE SAW
This
“straight arrow”
aluminum extrusion fence beam has been in the making for months.
It was initially developed for the traditional Delta Unisaw and is now finally complete and available.
Replace that damaged, blade nicked, rusted, and/or dilapidated Delta fence beam with this totally new, light weight, straight, and extremely rigid fence beam.
Delta-brand fence beams for the vintage saws have been obsolete for some time.
You would be very lucky to find a factory replacement beam to buy or at a price less than a couple of hundred $$, so we decided to manufacture our own.
The aircraft quality 6063-T6 extruded aluminum alloy fence beam is available in two standard lengths:
30.25” to replace the early Delta Micro-set fence beam and 33.18” to replace the later Jet-lock fence beam.
Our all new fence “beams” or “rails” are reasonably priced.
Both lengths are priced the same, but your choice needs to be specified at time of order.
Measure your existing fence if you are unsure which fits your saw.
For clarification, the Delta Micro-set fence has the curved or rounded face above the locking lever on the head casting, while the Jet-lock fence has the square face or totally vertical end, just above the locking lever on the head casting.
The beams have been precision CNC machined to easily bolt to your existing head casting and to accept the stock die cast rear clamp block or our heavy duty billet aluminum rear clamp block.
Holes and slots are machined to allow you to easily square the fence to the blade and to adjust for front to rear rail dimension variations.
The extrusion profile has a two hollow chambers, separated by a 1/8” thick stiffening web.
The beams walls are also 1/8” thick to provide for the ultimate in rigidity and strength and to maintain its extremely straight form.
If you are so inclined, the walls are thick enough to drill and tap to our recommended 10-32 thread, if a sacrificial wood board is desired on the blade side of your fence.
Your fence with an extruded aluminum beam will be lighter, more maneuverable, and more accurate than a fence using the much heavier OEM welded steel fence beam assembly.
Since we are manufacturing this beam ourselves, we are also able to produce custom length fences.
Special length fences are available for Delta 20" band saw applications and for our unique full size Unisaw rail conversion for the 1949-1951 Unisaw Junior saws.
The Junior rail conversion kit we offer allows you to install the 1 3/8” diameter full size Unisaw rails on the smaller Unisaw Junior saw and use a standard Delta single lever Micro-set fence that is fitted with our 29.25” custom length beam.

We also sell totally rebuilt Micro-set and Gen II converted Jet-lock fences.
Each of these fences can be fitted with an original steel rail or this new extruded aluminum rail.
Our rebuilt fences are often listed on eBay and can be found if you search through our “other items”.
Each fence beam will be securely packed and shipped in a rigid cardboard tube to insure it arrives in pristine condition.
The best way to open the tube is to pry an end cap off with a screwdriver.
The freight to anywhere in the lower 48 states is a fixed .00 charge, because of the tube size and weight according to the Post Office.
